The Department of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP), Universitas Trisakti, in coordination with the Postgraduate Program at Universitas Trisakti, opened Master of Architecture Study Program as a concrete manifestation of its role in preparing strong scientists in the development of science, knowledge and technology as quality human resources, who are ready to face globalization era. The Master of Architecture Study Program was organized to answer development demands in general and demands for development in the field of Architecture in particular. Basically, the Master of Architecture Study Program is a means of developing and disseminating science and technology to realize the ideals of creating a built environment that is responsive to socio-cultural, technological and environmental developments.

The Master of Architecture Study Program, which began to be held in the Even Semester of the 2000-2001 Academic Year, is the 5th Master’s Study Program opened by the Universitas Trisakti Postgraduate Program. The Master of Architecture Study Program is organized based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 177/DIKTI/Kep/2000 dated 6 June 2000, which was extended by Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number. 1683/D/T/K-III/2009 followed by BAN-PT Decree Number: 442/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M /XI/2014 dated: 18 November 2014, where the Master of Architecture Study Program received B-Accreditation.

In line with demands for improving the quality and relevance and efficiency of education management to face challenges in accordance with the demands of changes in local, national and global life, it is necessary to reform education in a planned, directed and sustainable manner. Therefore, the Master of Architecture Study Program carries out continuous evaluations, regarding curriculum evaluation and the possibility of developing new fields of study or study concentrations in the Master of Architecture Study Program.
